Graduate Intern

The Graduate Intern plays a vital role in helping the Principal, Director of Studies, and Program Coordinator to support programs, events, and more at Hereford. The Intern will work closely with the above administrative team as well as the Hereford Student Senate.

Katie is a native of Afton, Virginia, just half an hour west of Charlottesville. As a second-generation Hoo, she double majored in Media Studies and Women, Gender & Sexuality and graduated from the University of Virginia this past spring (BA ’23). Throughout her time at UVA, Katie took part in a wide range of organizations and activities, including First Year Players, the Meriwether Lewis Institute for Citizen Leadership, Phi Sigma Pi Gender Inclusive National Honor Fraternity, and the Queer Student Union. Throughout her coursework and leadership experience, Katie developed a passion for equity in higher education which has led her to pursue her Masters of Education in Higher Education at UVA. In her free time, she loves spending time outside, watching movies, and goofing around with her friends. She’s so excited to work with Hereford Residential College as the Graduate Intern!
