Hereford is more than just a place to sleep.

We have the largest outdoor space of any residential college on Grounds, located on Observatory Hill with stunning views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Hereford offers exciting and innovative programming throughout the year, including annual traditions and recurring events.

MOVIE ON THE HILL

Each fall, the Hereford community votes on a movie to screen on the Hereford Lawn and enjoy with the broader community. Sweet Treats food truck often makes a special appearance!

BLOOMFIELD CUP

Bloomfield Cup is our annual flag football tournament held each spring. For those less inclined to hit the field, the day is also filled with other fun activities including a BBQ.

COOKIE NIGHT

Every Thursday evening, the Hereford Student Senate provides a study break with warm, assorted cookies in the Hereford Hub!
